Clues To The Missing KATS?!!!

Yesterday, I received in the mail 2 postcards which possibly are clues to our missing travelers. Here is the first one for your perusal:

http://myrealwall.blogspot.ca/
Wanted: For Kidnapping Zombie KATS
This leads me to believe that the KATS, in their travels to the mysterious "E  Ambassadeur D'Utopia", were intercepted and are in the clutches of this man, who has up until to now, been believed to be dead.

Now for the second clue, a postcard from our WI, Port Washington correspondent, Angie, who in despair, had posted the following:

Are the two clues possibly connected? Probably not. But, if Zombie Kitty Kawaii! only had 8 lives left when she left Angie's, then she most certainly had many less when she left Dean's in Paris. And, what of the Mysterious "E"? Will the KATS arrive safely? Will we ever hear from them again? Will my coffee still be at least warm by the end of this blog post? Well, ZKK fans, we will just have to wait and see...until then...THHPPT!

P.s.- If anyone has their own ideas regarding this matter, please, please, please, don't hesitate to make contact. I do have one last card with Phat Kat's cat-sick that I am willing to part with for any information. Thank you.

She's Alive! Really!

After getting over the shock of the video, Dean has sent us proof that Zombie Kitty Kawaii! is in fact still among us intact. As he writes:

"So where is Zombie Kat today?  Well here he is looking all fresh and new, but a long way from home."
But our Correspondents from Port Washington (Angie) and Thessaloniki (Katerina) are not convinced by a mere photograph. Katerina writes: "Where is Zombie Kitty Kawaii!? I want photo proof of her existence back in Paris." And, as Angie points out: "Dean, will you please post a pic of ZKK near a current calendar or bank sign with the current date and time or a pic that provides some assurance that she is indeed not burned to a crisp? I'm feeling ... anxious."

Alas, Dean provides more proof of Zombie Kitty Kawaii!'s existence:

"Here she is, this is today. She is being put back together at the Humpty Dumpty Paper Mache factory."
"They say that they are nearly finished and the Kat will be as good as new, except for a few ashes here and there which they can cover up with blush and lipstick.  I will be able to pick up the Kat tomorrow morning just in time for the Friday night fireworks!"
Fireworks, huh? I'm sure Kitty Kawaii! will love that, after her experience on the Hot Rocks of the Canary Islands. At least, those ladies at the Humpty Dumpty Paper Mache factory look as if they know what they're doing. After all, what are a few more stitches on Kitty Kawaii! anyway?

Rebirth for Zombie Kitty Kawaii! indeed!

Zombie Kitty Kwaii! Visits The Tuileries...

...and it's no walk in the park for our Paris Correspondent, Dean:

"Well, after a full day of culture today we thought to go for a nice stroll in the Tuileries garden.
The Tuileries Palace was a royal palace in Paris which stood until 1871, when it was destroyed in the upheaval during the suppression of the Paris Commune. It closed off the western end of the Louvre courtyard, which has remained open since the destruction of the palace.
With the disappearance of the palace, the Arc de Triomphe du Carrousel, built between 1806 and 1808 to serve as an entrance of honor at the Tuileries, became the dominant feature of the Place du Carrousel. It is a triumphal arch that was commissioned in 1806 to commemorate Napoleon’s  military victories of the previous year."

"We stopped at a lamp post, but Zombie Kitty Kawaii! (hey, I'm doing pretty good on the name now) didn't seem to want to go pee pee on the lamp post.  Not being a Kat owner myself, I really don't know how these things work.  And I just realized that Paris doesn't have red fire hydrants in the streets.  However, Paris does have: http://jonathanturley.org/2011/02/27/do-the-rooms-come-with-fire-hydrants-paris-has-luxury-pet-hotel/

"Zombie Kitty Kawaii! was sitting very nice for the photos when all of a sudden he jumped off the statue and ran in the garden and started eating grass.  I don't know too much about Kats, but I get a strange feeling that this is not a good sign."

No, not a good sign at all. As Angie, our Port Washington Correspondent, remarks; "Grass eating is a sure sign of hair balls to follow. I hope you have plenty of carpet cleaner on hand ..."

A Little Geography Lesson...If Your Lucky...

O.k. kids! Just so you can keep up with all the places Zombie Kitty Kawaii! and her traveling companion, PhatKat have gone so far, we give you this map:

Unfortunately, Google Maps can't calculate the distance from Iowa City, Iowa, USA to  Osijek, Croatia as you can't travel it by car. There's an ocean in between. Too bad. I would have liked to have known.

However, I can give you the distance traveled between  Osijek, Croatia and Thessaloniki, Greece:
It is exactly 810 KM and will take you 9 hours and 17 minutes to travel by car (or postal truck, if you are Zombie Kitty Kawaii!). You will also be crossing through multiple countries, as noted by Google Maps. Thank you, Google Maps.
